Chemistry and the Law

As part of his “Enterprise 2015” project, Bill Carroll challenged CHAL members to help ACS members with their legal needs. To meet this challenge, CHAL is organizing a lawyer referral service and a speaker’s bureau.

For the lawyer referral service, CHAL will provide a directory of CHAL members who would be willing to answer questions from ACS members, refer them to an attorney who could help them, or, if appropriate, represent them. For the Speaker’s Bureau, CHAL will provide a directory of attorneys who would be willing to speak to ACS groups on topics of mutual interest.

This program is truly a “win-win.” The ACS members get the help they need, and you can help out, network with ACS and CHAL members, and for those in private practice, market your services to a group that you have a lot in common with—chemistry and chemical engineering.
